STIHL BTA140 (UA010119200) 36V Li-Ion Cordless AllPro/AP System Earth Auger – Skin Only

Description

The STIHL BTA 140 Battery Earth Auger is built for professional applications in horticulture, landscaping, forestry, agriculture and construction. Capable of drilling holes up to 300 mm in diameter, it is ideal for installing posts, digging planting holes, creating drainage shafts and preparing small to medium-sized foundations.

Powered by the STIHL AP System, the high-performance EC motor delivers powerful, low-vibration operation with minimal maintenance. Its quiet performance allows for comfortable use in many environments, while the balanced design and close-to-body drilling axis provide greater control and reduced operator fatigue.

The BTA 140 features three operating modes to suit different applications: Slow for controlled, low-kickback drilling, Fast for challenging ground conditions, and Reverse to help release jammed auger bits. The selected mode is easily controlled from the ergonomic handle and displayed on the integrated screen.

For added safety, the STIHL QuickStop system automatically stops the auger if excessive twisting is detected, helping reduce kickback and allowing work to resume quickly. A large support cushion improves comfort during operation, while the integrated transport bracket makes storage and transport easy and helps protect the QuickStop system.

Features:

• 3 Operating Modes with Control Display: Features Slow (controlled, low-kickback drilling), Fast (for tough ground conditions), and Reverse (to unjam stuck auger bits), clearly shown on the handle’s integrated display
• STIHL QuickStop System: Automatically stops the drilling process immediately if a blockage or severe twisting is detected, protecting the operator from kickback
• Brushless EC Motor: High-performance motor delivering steady power with low noise, minimal maintenance, and low vibration levels
• Large Support Cushion: Positioned for comfortable close-to-body drilling, reducing user fatigue during extended use
• Integrated Transport Bracket: Protects the QuickStop system while allowing for convenient transport and neat storage
• IPX4 Weather Protection: Certified splash-water resistance, allowing safe operation even in damp weather conditions
• Versatile Drilling Capacity: Capable of drilling holes up to 300 mm in diameter for fence posts, planting, drainage shafts, and small foundations
