Description

This affordable avoidance tool allows for quick and accurate locating of underground utilities, helping to prevent costly damages, utility strikes, and service outages. It features an 82 kHz active frequency and capabilities for depth and passive power locating. Ideal for single utility locates, ensuring accurate identification and tracing.

This locator consists of two parts: a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter emits a frequency that induces onto nearby pipes and cables. The receiver detects these radio frequencies, enabling the operator to accurately locate and trace pipes and cables. In manual gain mode, the user can adjust sensitivity to suit different scenarios. The receiver is equipped with directional indicators (arrows) to guide the user closer to the target.

Depth measurements can be taken when directional indicators show both arrows and the center bar. The receiver controls are intuitive, requiring minimal training, and can be operated with one hand. The transmitter has 33 kHz and 82 kHz operating frequencies, four operating modes, and a 1 W boost to help locate more utilities.

This locator is great for single utility locates where accurate identification and tracing of one service amongst others is required.
