Description
The new Makita cordless lawn mower is engineered to deliver a smoother, quieter and more efficient mowing experience, even across large residential areas. An optimised forward‑tilted blade design reduces double cutting, lowering motor load and maximising runtime, so more lawn gets done on a single charge with consistently clean results.
Designed with operator comfort in mind, the electric blade brake significantly reduces switch lever effort by approximately 80% compared to mechanical systems. This minimises hand fatigue and improves control, making longer mowing sessions easier and more comfortable.
Built to handle demanding conditions, the mower features a 460mm heavy‑duty steel deck that delivers strength, stability and long‑term durability. Compatibility with high‑capacity Makita 18V LXT batteries, including BL1890 and BL18120, allows users to mow up to 1,920 square metres when paired with two high‑output batteries—ideal for larger lawns without interruption.
For noise‑sensitive environments, Quiet Mode limits motor speed to 2,500rpm, reducing sound output while maintaining effective cutting performance. Combining power, runtime and refined operation, this mower delivers the reliable performance professionals expect and homeowners appreciate—another example of Makita’s commitment to smarter cordless outdoor solutions.
