Description
The Footprint FP591/10.1 is a durable, drop-forged 10″ × 1″ cold chisel designed for masonry work. Made in Sheffield from high-quality carbon steel, it features a hardened cutting edge for long life and a domed striking head to reduce mushrooming. Suitable for cutting and shaping brick, stone, mortar, and cement, with an optional EVA hand guard for added safety.
Features:
- All sizes of cold chisels up to, and including, the 12 x 1” are Drop Hammer forged from head to blade
- The 16 x 1” and above cold chisels are forged blades only
- Made from high quality carbon steel
- Hardened cutting edges for a long life
- Domed striking heads (excluding the 18 x ¾” and 36 x 1”) to delay the onset splintering and mushrooming as well as preventing the optional hand guard sliding up and off the cold chisel
- Optional high quality EVA hand guard to protect the hand from glanced blow
